S18 Prefabricated Frame Scaffolding – Pin Connection
The S18 scaffolding system with pin connections, branded SOCOME 1, is a prefabricated frame system consisting of portal frames. The pins allow ledgers and diagonal braces to be connected, forming the scaffolding structure.
Thanks to its straightforward assembly, the system is used to build scaffolding for straight building façades. For specific applications, it can be combined with tube-and-coupler scaffolding components.
The range of structural components allows different configurations to be assembled to suit the construction and architectural requirements of the site.
Modular Design and Versatile Applications
The S18 pin-connected scaffolding system is manufactured using certified materials and undergoes quality control throughout the production process. Its components are designed to facilitate assembly and allow the structure to be built in the configurations specified for the system.
It is particularly suitable for scaffolding along straight façades and for applications where ease of assembly is an important requirement. The wide range of structural components meets a variety of construction and architectural needs.
Suitable for Narrow Spaces Too
The 600 mm narrow base configuration allows the system to be considered for use in confined spaces. 1 m end units are also available for the configurations specified by the manufacturer. Component selection and operating conditions must always comply with the technical documentation and the authorised configuration.

- Bay length: 1800 mm, the distance between the two frames.
- Module: 2000 mm, the height between working platforms.
- Connection system: pin connections.

- Uniformly distributed load: 300 daN/m², Class IV according to EN 12811, as stated in the product data sheet.
The load value must be considered in accordance with the authorisation, the scaffolding configuration and the conditions specified in the technical documentation.
